i dont use tumblr much anymore but im writing my tsats thoughts to ref later i redownloaded tumblr to find the free pdf LMAO which was a good call bc i dont thonk i wanna buy the book unless for the cover art i think it was a cute book and nice to get more solangelo content but a lot of the plot and characters (will) felt so underdeveloped idk it kind of fell short and i feel like there was so much important stuff that could have been addressed and i alr rbed a post abt this but the plots focus was just kind of generic i finally have a friend who likes pjo too tho so!!! i'm waiting for her to finish up and talk more abt eveything overall was like a 6/10 for me tho glow gabs

nico's book should've been abt him being the traveler of camps, his father's ambassador, + harbinger of justice + balance. talked abt what nico + hades mean in the grand scheme of things multiple times

we KNOW nico has light + darkness in him + it's hard, that goes for every demigod. didn't need a whole book overwriting that metaphor. integrate it into nico's universe, show us the underworld being a second home rather than telling, the story should've been abt nico but it wasn't even if it's his own book 🤨
